At 7,500 miles, Honda recommends minor maintenance with an engine oil change and tire rotation.
However, Honda has made it easier through their recommended maintenance intervals. These are sets of services you can have performed after a certain number of miles has passed on your odometer to make sure everything’s in good working order. At Stephen Wade Honda, we’re your number one service center for taking care of those maintenance intervals the right way.
A maintenance interval is the number of miles after which you need service, and it’s not just the first time you hit that number. For example, if a maintenance interval is required after 7,500 miles, you need to have it done at 7,500 miles, 15,000 miles, 22,500 miles, 30,000 miles, and so on. When two intervals overlap, the longer interval usually already includes the smaller interval’s services. Here are Honda’s specific intervals for regular maintenance:
At 7,500 miles, Honda recommends minor maintenance with an engine oil change and tire rotation.
At 15,000 miles, Honda recommends minor maintenance and several inspections. Recommended services include a tire rotation and engine oil change. Inspections include the exhaust system, fuel lines, all fluid levels, brake system, cooling system, driveshaft, tie rods, and suspension system.
At 30,000 miles, Honda recommends intermediate maintenance with several services and inspections. Recommended services include tire rotation, engine oil change, spark plug replacement, and engine air filter replacement. Recommended inspections include the tie rod ends, driveshaft, suspension system, braking system, fuel lines, engine cooling system, exhaust system, all fluid levels, and drive belt inspection/adjustment.
At 60,000 miles, Honda recommends repeating the inspections and services included in the 30,000-mile service.
At 105,000 miles, Honda recommends major maintenance to ready your vehicle for the next 100,000 miles. Recommended services include a tire rotation, engine oil change, timing belt replacement, and engine air filter replacement. Inspections include the idle speed, water pump, drive belt with adjustment if needed, all fluid levels, exhaust system, cooling system, fuel lines, braking system, suspension system, driveshaft, and tie rod ends.
Our certified technicians are the backbone of our service center, and they provide fantastic work day after day. They’re certified by Honda themselves, which means they know your car inside and out and have studied all the various Honda models specifically so that they can take care of your car in the best way possible. They’re so good that they’re authorized to perform warranty and recall-related work on behalf of Honda, and they bring that same skill to the table for you.
We also have a stock of OEM parts that we can provide for any replacements you might need. Regular maintenance intervals contain several inspections to make sure nothing has worn through or broken, so when our experts find something that needs replacing, you can take advantage of the best parts for the job, on hand and ready to go. Honda tried and tested OEM parts to make sure they’ll live up to Honda’s good name, so you know you’re getting high quality.
